What We Do

Our Programs

Designed to nurture imagination, language fluency, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of books.

The Reading Club

The Reading Club

Our regular Reading Club welcomes children from age 2 onwards, with children placed in age-appropriate groups. Each session is designed to nurture a love of reading while encouraging discussion, imagination and curiosity. Through stories and books, children build vocabulary, confidence and communication skills while mastering the English language naturally and enjoyably. Reading also helps children express their ideas, participate confidently at school and develop a broader understanding of the world around them.

Trinity College London Speech & Drama program

Trinity College London Speech & Drama program

Trinity College London Speech & Drama At The Mango Tree Reading Club, we believe that reading and speaking go hand in hand. Our Trinity College London Speech & Drama programme uses the richness of literature, poetry, prose and drama to help children develop a confident, expressive voice. Through carefully chosen texts, children learn to read with understanding, speak clearly, express ideas, use their voice and body effectively, and bring words to life. They explore character, emotion, language and meaning while developing presentation skills, creativity, critical thinking and confidence. The programme follows the internationally recognised Trinity College London graded Speech & Drama framework, from Initial to Grade 8, giving children a structured pathway as their skills develop. Trinity allows candidates to choose material that reflects their interests and encourages them to engage personally and creatively with literature. For us, the greatest value of Speech & Drama goes beyond the stage. It helps children become articulate, confident communicators who can think clearly, express themselves thoughtfully and speak comfortably in front of others — skills that support them in school, university and, ultimately, in life. Read. Think. Speak. Express. At The Mango Tree Reading Club, we want children to find their voice — through the books they read and the ideas they learn to express.

Storytelling for Babies

Storytelling for Babies

Our storytelling sessions for babies introduce little ones to the magic of books from the very beginning. Through gentle stories, rhymes, songs, sounds, movement and colourful picture books, babies enjoy a playful first experience with language and books. These sessions encourage listening, early communication, attention and imagination, while creating a special opportunity for parents and babies to enjoy stories together. Most importantly, we want babies to discover from the start that books are joyful, comforting and fun. .
